At VisualizeBook.app, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the intellectual property and documents you upload. This policy explains how we handle your data, your documents, and our strict file retention protocols.
2. Document Retention & Auto-Deletion
When you upload a PDF, Word document, or markdown file to create a whiteboard video, that file is processed in a secure environment. All uploaded source documents and raw assets are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers 24 hours after video generation is completed. We do not keep copies of your source files.
3. AI Models & Training Policy
We value the privacy of academic and professional data. We do not use the content of your uploaded textbooks, manuals, or notes to train, retrain, or improve any LLM (Large Language Model) or third-party AI system. Your inputs are handled as transient data stream triggers.
4. Data Storage & Security
Any temporary assets required to compile your videos (such as text scripts, synthesized TTS voices, and cropped diagram vector files) are stored in secure, encrypted S3-compatible cloud object storage (DigitalOcean Spaces / Cloudflare R2). Access to these files is restricted via private bucket policies and short-term secure pre-signed URLs.
5. Third-Party Integrations
To generate explainer videos, our pipeline communicates with secure API services:
• Google Gemini API: Processes text-to-narration, slide planning, and TTS synthesis.
• Replicate API: Handles slide graphic designs and image upscaling.
All data sent to these APIs is treated as transient and is subject to their standard enterprise API privacy guidelines, which strictly prohibit using user data for model training.
